This amazing lady- my right hand woman in the kitchen, has been my solid support for over 2 years. She took soo much off my plate, helping me to do more and more. Today was my last day cooking next to her and I can honestly say that if I could pack her in a box and have her move with me, I would. I don’t know what I would have done without her. This Tuesday we took a girl’s date to BITE, for one last bit of inspiration and tasty treats. So raise a glass to your support in the kitchen. Thank you Kate for your dedication, help and being a friend. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later! And thanks to for introducing us!

This is the FINAL market and Tuesday Meal in Jersey City -
Menu for April 28th

Whelp.... this is the last Tuesday/market email I will be sending out to you all from Jersey City. The next step is packing everything up and getting ready to move. It's very surreal. I open up my fridge, and it's empty. I have almost emptied one freezer, and the second has the last remaining soups in there. So currently, whatever I have ready to purchase for online and the farmers market- it's all online, so once it's sold out, that is it. I am not making any more fresh dips, and this is the last of the rapee morv andelle. I am also going to put on the site something that I have NEVER put on before- the hand pies! They are being made tomorrow, so I can pull the items to the side for delivery on Tuesday.

If you want to pick up an order at the market, you need to place your order by Friday at noon. That is the latest I am in the kitchen for the day, so I won't be able to pull extra for your order anytime past noon (except the fresh Tuesday meal).

So for the last meal I thought it was only appropriate to celebrate Taco Tuesday. Yup, this is my go to taco meal that is a banger! I bring this camping, I bring it to backyard BBQs, and make it for dinner parties. The meal is Michelada Carne Asada Tacos. These tacos are unfortunately NOT gluten free- it is marinated in beer and a michelada mix. What is michelada? Think of a bloody mary, but with beer. This comes with a side of salsa, onions with cilantro (aka con todos), radishes and of course, lime.

This is it.... this is the FINAL meal from Riggs Company Provisions in Jersey City. Yes, it's bittersweet, but all good things must come to an end eventually.... So in honor of Tuesday deliveries, I figured it was only appropriate to celebrate with TACO TUESDAY! This week, it's a Michelada Carne Asada Taco. The meat is seasoned and marinated with a Michelada mixture, then placed in a sous vide for perfect cooking and seared on the outside. This comes with a side of corn tortillas, salsa, and onions with cilantro. And of course radishes and lime. It's a banger to go out on, to say the least!

Also, this is your last opportunity to have any of the frozen options delivered to you! This is the last opportunity to stock up your freezers, so I highly recommend placing your orders sooner rather than later, as I have already sold out of a lot of items.

TWO More Markets and Meals! -

Yup, only TWO more markets and meals until I am done. I know I've got to say goodbye to some of you already, which I can honestly say is pretty sad. To know that I won't get to see you throughout the year is honestly very strange, and I know it won't hit me until I finally get to sit down and have a free moment to reflect on everything. For those of you who are holding out until the last minute, it's now or never. It's time to get what you need before you can't.

Speaking of the market- If you want to pick up an order at the market, you need to place your order by Friday at noon. That is the latest I am in the kitchen for the day, so I won't be able to pull extra for your order anytime past noon. And this is only for frozen items. I am also down to the last of the Spinach Artichoke Dip, too.

This Tuesday's meal is Dilly Salmon Pasta Salad with Pickles. This pasta salad is the perfect warm-weather meal. The salmon is steamed and mixed with dill, pickles, and a nice caraway breadcrumb. I honestly look forward to this meal the moment it gets warm outside. Perfect for picnics, eating outside, or a perfect lunch /dinner that you don't have to heat up!

TWO more Tuesday meals and farmers' markets left! It's very surreal! This means you only have 4 more opportunities to stock up on all your favorite soups/stews and dips! Delivery option is available for Tuesdays, so you don't even have to worry about lugging it home!

This week's meal is perfect for this warm weather! Dilly Salmon Pasta Salad with Pickles. I love this pasta salad. It has steamed salmon, dill, and pickles with a crunch of rye breadcrumbs. It's one of those salads that gets better the next day!

THREE More Markets and Meals! -
Menu for April 14th

It's getting strange and real here. I realized this week that a good chunk of my customers had no clue I was leaving until I posted a reel this week, which goes to show how we all don't get information from the same places. It's also weird because I am a creature of habit, and not making 2 soups each week gives me a lot of extra time. Which means I am packing and thinking and trying to organize myself. So be kind to me at the market.... my brain is everywhere.

This Tuesday's meal is Chilled Spicy Noodles with Pork and Spinach. This meal has a wonderful gluten-free option using sweet potato glass noodles and tamari instead. The noodles are chilled with sesame oil and a side of fish sauce with soy sauce (tamari if gluten-free). Placed on top is a heated-up pork with chiles and spinach sauteed with garlic and ginger. This is a great spring and warm weather meal.

3 more Tuesday deliveries left! This week, I am offering Chilled Spicy Noodles with Pork and Spinach. There is a gluten-free option for this as well! The noodles are chilled with sesame oil and a side of fish sauce with soy sauce (tamari for the GF option). This gets topped with warm spicy pork with ginger, garlic, and spinach.

There are only 3 more opportunities to stock up on soup/stews! You can place your order online for pick up/delivery for this Tuesday, OR you can let me know if you would like to pick up your order at the Van Vorst Farmers Market (only for appetizers and frozen items). If you want to pick up at the farmers' market, please place your order before 1 pm on Friday.
