We are a family-oriented choose-n-cut Christmas tree farm, cut flower farm, cypress tree nursery, and this summer you will find our farm cart with fresh eggs, garden veggies, and fruits from our blackberries.

We usually have some giant trees above 14'. This year we actually have some over 20'.

Dallas does most of the final shaping on these. He's really good at it.

The tree in the video is about 22' and is headed to a residential development in South Carolina. The same folks got started with a 16-footer last year. Now, they are pulling out the stops.

Another 22' tree is headdd to a Tennessee resort. That resort has already reserved big ones for the next two years after this.

These big ones are tough to work, but they are impressive.

Do you like your Christmas tree wide, narrow, or in-between? Closely sheared, ot wild and wholly?

We're almosr finished with our 2026 shearing. We did the work over a 4-week period, so some will have more grow-back time than others.

The trees have been fertilzed, so, with a little water, they should put on a little growth and be exactly how you want them.

Wow! Look at the date! Are you thinking aobut Christmas yet?

Here at Days of Creation, we defininately are! Our opneing day is the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Novermbr 21, 2026

That's s a short 68 daysuntil you can come get your real Christmas tree! (You parents of younger children can do the math and figure out why we didn't make this post tomorrow. We shall not say that number; it wore us out last year. lol)

When do you like to get your tree? Do you have your calendar marked?

We met with some fine folks over the last two days at the annual Georgia Christmas Tree Association meeting. It sas help at Skipper Farm in Macon. As always, we leatn enough from the "seasoned" growers to make this trip worthwhile. Well, now that I've written that, I've been going to the meetings for over 20 years. Maybe , I AM one of those "seasonsd" members! What say ye?

Did you know that Christmas trees don't just got looking lkke a Christmas tree? And, did you know that most of the shaping is done in the summer heat?

The shaping is done tree by tree, manually with some kind of shearing tool. There's no tractor seat or tractor cab involved. There's nowhere to hide from the sun.

As a side note: I am a member multiple groups related to Christmas trees. I have to chuckle when I see the posts from growers farther north talking about working in the extreme heat of upper 80s.😃 It's what you're used to, I suppose. I'd turn into a popsicle in their winters.
