Look for the beauty in the world around you. Sometimes it is hidden, but it’s always there.

Time flies when you’re having fun and the last few months have been just that. We are so grateful for all the memories made in and out of the saddle.

Thank you to everyone who gathered on our farm this past summer, you are such a blessing to us.

As we slow down for the fall and winter months we are excited for you to join us as we share all our happenings here at Foxen Farms.

Wednesday at camp we spent the day stepping outside our comfort zone and trying new things. Everyone had the opportunity to try ba****ck riding, the egg and spoon race on horseback, gaiting the horses faster in the round pen , and washing pigs.
It’s been so great to watch this group make new friendships and be so kind to each other, regardless of the age differences. Such a caring group of kids.

We learned all about gaited horses yesterday at camp and just like people how different each horse personalities are. Everyone loved having an opportunity to ride the gaited horses, thank you Rikki Goshorn for sharing them with us.

In our table group we talked about how God created us each with our own special gifts and talked about what each of our gifts are.
We ended our day with water games and lots of laughter.

Camp #3 started yesterday with beautiful weather and a wonderful group of kids! Everyone enjoyed meeting all the animals on our farm, designing their scrapbooks, creating a team name and poster, learning about horse care and safety, and riding the horses with a focus on balance and communication with the horse while being gentle on their mouths.
Looking forward to another great week!

Our final day of camp was wonderful, filled with fun, friends, and beautiful weather. Participants set goals at the week's beginning, such as making friends, riding horses independently, and trotting on horseback. Everyone achieved their goals this week, and we are very proud of them! Thank you for joining us; it was an honor to spend the week with this group.
