Sometimes I have to stand back for a second and just LOOK at what my brain and these two hands created. 🥹💗

It may be “just a candied grape” to some people, but to me, this is ART. Every color, every line, every dip, every little detail came from an idea in my head that somehow made its way through my hands and turned into THIS. 💙🩷

And y’all… this one is absolutely one of my FAVORITES. 😮‍💨😍 The blue, the pink, the shine, the way those stripes wrapped around that grape… I’m obsessed.

Three years ago I never could’ve imagined how far a GRAPE and a whole lot of determination would take me. 😂🥹 Sometimes I get so busy creating that I forget to stop and appreciate how much my craft has grown.

God gave me the creativity, my brain dreamed it up, and these two hands brought it to life. And THAT is something I’ll never stop being grateful for. 💗

There are gifts… and then there are gifts that you can feel the love in. 🥹💗

My beautiful friend HANDMADE this bag for me, and I truly don’t think she will ever understand just how special it is. Every single stitch, every little candy detail, the colors, even the beautiful purple lining inside… she took her own time, talent, and two hands and created something specifically for me and Weekend Sweets LLC. 🍭💗

And honestly, this entire week has reminded me of something I think we all need to remember sometimes. Along with this beautiful handmade bag, I was gifted the most precious hand-painted gift earlier this week, and then the sweetest Mr. & Mrs. Sweets shirts. 🥹😭 Y’all… my heart.

These aren’t “just gifts” to me. It’s the thought behind them. It’s knowing that someone thought of me when they didn’t have to. Someone took their time to create something for me. Someone wanted to make me smile. That means more than I could ever put into words.

Life can get heavy. The world can feel ugly sometimes, and it’s so easy to get caught up in the bad that we forget how much GOOD is still around us. But this week has been such a beautiful reminder to me that people are genuine. People are kind. There are still really, really good people in this world. 💗

And maybe the biggest reminder of all is this: people are watching you, loving you, rooting for you, and standing beside you even when you don’t realize they are. Sometimes God sends little reminders through people at exactly the moment your heart needs them most.

So to every single person who has thought of me, prayed for me, encouraged me, made something for me, supported my little dream, walked through our doors, or simply reminded me that there is still so much goodness in this world… THANK YOU.

I hope I never become so busy that I stop appreciating these moments. I hope I never forget the people who have poured love into me while I’ve been pouring everything I have into this dream.

My heart is incredibly full. 🥹💗

When the world feels heavy, remember: there is still good. There are still genuine people. And sometimes, love is surrounding you long before you even realize it. 🍭🫶🏼✨

&&& y’all didn’t just wipe Weekend Sweets LLC out… you SOLD OUT our cottage baker Stanfield Sweets Mary Grace Stanfield too!! 😭👏🏼💗

Also our other cottage baker has stocked this morning Cookie & Crumb and yall have been clearing her cookies out and oatmeal cream pies!💗

I seriously don’t know how I will EVER thank y’all enough. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Every person who walks through our doors, places an order, shares our posts, tells a friend, or comes back week after week means more to us than you know.

One of my absolute favorite parts of what we do is getting to be a tiny piece of your BIG moments. 🥹💗 Birthdays, celebrations, surprises, parties, special requests whatever the occasion may be, it makes me so happy when y’all trust us to make something special for you! 🍓🍇🍫🍭

… you’re absolutely right. 😂 Anybody CAN wrap a Fruit Roll-Up around a grape.

BUTTTT… 👀

Can you make the candy from scratch?
Can you get that CRUNCH just right? 😮‍💨
Can you make it taste as good as it looks?
Can you create the designs?
Can you get the consistency right EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.?
Can you have people coming back week after week asking, “Y’all got them grapes today?!” 😂🍇

Because wrapping it is the easy part, babe. Making somebody bite into it, hear that CRUNCH, close their eyes and immediately reach for another one… THAT’S the craft. 🤌🏼😂

Anybody can buy the ingredients.

Not everybody can make the product. 💅🏼🍭🍇

And after 3 years of dipping, cracking, creating, learning, messing up, perfecting and building Weekend Sweets from my kitchen to a food truck to a STOREFRONT… I think I’ll keep wrapping my little Fruit Roll-Ups around my grapes. 😂😂

Apparently they taste pretty dang good because y’all keep coming back and SELLING ME OUT. 🤭💗
