The Carlson farm sure is a hoppin' place! (Even though I don't post often!) An early spring shop party, finishing up a major repair on the skid loader, and cleaning up a downed tree were among the spring break activities! -Annnnnd the new (to us) combine was delivered and looking pretty in the shed.

Started spraying Saturday afternoon - Caught Dad inbetween tanks - Hopefully things stay dry so the field cultivator and planter can follow shortly!

Replaced flexible rubber seed delivery hose with conduit on outer rows of the planter to reduce resistance to flow and hopefully solve our inconsistency problem.

The Carlson Barn, which used to sit near Stratford, now calls the 1900-era farm at Living History Farms in Urbandale its home. At LHF it serves as one of the most important structures with a dairy parlor, warehouse, stable, tool rooms, nursery and work space.
