We thought it was time to dedicate a page solely to Rivermill Tavern. Menu and couple updates on the site! Please give us a like and follow. I truly appreciate everyone who follows Man-Maid Catering, we're not done growing that either so keep an eye out for updates there too. Thank you Griswold!!!

Good morning Griswold! So THIS is the last post before opening I promise.
From complete exhaustion to nervous excitement as we have passed all our inspections!
We're still waiting to get our liquor permit but are looking to start serving food on Monday! With a chance of a soft opening this weekend for food only and give some of you an early taste test.
Delivery will start about a week later so we can get used to the kitchen, menu, register etc first. I want to make sure little by little we can serve you correctly.
We'll have a new page for the restaurant on Friday with menu, pics, contact info etc. The place, like me, is a little old, rough around the edges and still needs some work but we've put everything we had into it and hope you like it until we can do more.
It's been a journey to say the least and so glad it's been with all of you. We hope you stick with us while we learn and get used to things to start. This couldn't happen without all of you, thanks so much for all the great support and we hope to see you soon!

We at Man-Maid Catering and now Rivermill Tavern 47 Main St JC would like to know, how ya like the new logo? Original design also by another local Dawn Nieto-Mattos who continues to amaze and finished up by my food vendor. I love it and hope you do to!
Quick update: menu coming soon!

Good afternoon beautiful Griswold community! Last update before opening so pardon the ramble. We are hopefully shooting to open sometime this month. So close yet so far.
When we open it will be as Rivermill Tavern, after the hard working mill families that built this town and they all sit on our gorgeous rivers. I've lived here my whole life and respect the history.
We will start with a modest but filling menu and a small staff because honestly it's what I can afford at this point. I have put every penny(literally)and drop of sweat into this so I really hope you like us, if not I lose everything so no pressure right? Lol
It will be a full bar with a great head bartender and staff, small in house seating for food with pool tables, TV, and music. We will also be doing take out and hopefully delivering. At the moment, we are looking for drivers to do local stuff while doordash, slice etc handle further away.
We are mostly family owned and operated and the outside staff I have so far is amazing and can't wait to open!
I'm sure we'll have hiccups when we start but I promise if you stick with us while we work the kinks out we will do our best everyday to serve this community a great product and give back as soon as we're on our feet again.
Lastly we have been graciously invited by Mike Minarsky to join SNSN radio show and speak about the upcoming opening. If you have questions, I'm as open and honest as they come, I'll answer best I can here or on the show. THANK YOU GRISWOLD ❤️
