Permaculture/silvapasture #1, by the numbers: 120 hazelnut bushes, 40 viburnum bushes, 160 t posts, 40 tree tubes, 30 honey locust trees, 10 paw paw trees, 2,000’ of wire, 10 bales mulch hay, 2 shirtless dudes, one smiling Tom. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped! This project will provide a diversity of wildlife habitat and allow grazing in the same field.

This is our first ever cow, affectionately known as Big Face. At 11 years old she still calves on time every year. She is half Scottish Highland and half Texas Longhorn.
