sparagus! With w**e? Yes! I have found the perfect pairing for asparagus and it is Albariño.

Saturday, August 1, 2026 was and since I had 3 bottles in the w**e fridge, and a Coravin, I decided a celebration of this official w**e holiday was in order.

I discovered while writing this that last week included National Oyster Day, on August 5th, and National White W**e Day, on August 4th! I love killing three birds with one stone. Well, that's not true, I don't like killing birds at all lol. But, I do love that this post inadvertently celebrated all three "holidays."

I love looking through my memories on social media. It is like a personal “this day in history” scrapbook.

Today I realized that this is a historically good day in w**e for me!

4 years ago I was visiting Chateaunuef du Pape and 3 years ago the Casablanca Valley in Chile!

The Pringles dispenser is in France and it still cracks me up.
