The Texas Hill Country has put on quite a show this spring.

After a rainy May, we’re still seeing wildflowers blooming across the vineyard in June, a sight we’re certainly not taking for granted. The recent rainfall has given the vines a strong start to the growing season, and the landscape is reflecting every bit of it.

We’re grateful for the rain we’ve received and hopeful for continued moisture as the season progresses. For now, we’re enjoying the color, the views, and the reminder that great growing seasons begin with healthy vineyards.

Join us this Memorial Day weekend at Hye Top Vineyards for a relaxed afternoon in the Texas Hill Country.

Our tasting room will be open Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM featuring a selection of Texas wines, scenic views, and a welcoming space to slow down and enjoy the weekend.

As a thank you, the first 10 guests will receive a complimentary tasting. Tasting guests must be 21+.

Raise your hand if you’re excited about how growing season is shaping up!

The vines are reaching high and the clusters are coming in strong. After a lot of hard work in the vineyard, it’s exciting to see the fruit developing this well this early in the season.

Now we keep watching the weather, managing the canopy, and letting the vines do their thing. Looking forward to seeing what this year’s harvest brings here at Hye Top Vineyards.

Spring is settling in at Hye Top and our April shipment will soon be on the way.

New season, new wines, same Texas roots. Looking forward to sharing these with everyone.

We are feeling a little lucky after St. Patrick’s Day.

The last couple of mornings brought freezing temps through the Hill Country, but it looks like the vines made it through without any noticeable damage.

This Sangiovese is already showing early cluster development, a strong sign as the season gets going.

Farming always keeps you at the will of nature, but today, we’ll take this outcome.

Spring has sprung and bud break is underway at Hye Top.

As trees and wildflowers begin to bloom around the property, fresh green shoots are emerging across the vineyard, marking the start of the 2026 vintage.

Another growing season is officially underway in the Texas Hill Country.
