More carrots were harvested today!
We officially have one raised bed that is empty. We will be adding some compost, goat and duck manure, and more soil soon. I plan to plant garlic this fall, but I’m not sure yet if I will use an existing bed, or if we will build another.

The garden plans for next year begin soon…

This here hurts my heart.
Since glory was put on penicillin for 6 days, we have a 14 day milk withdrawal.
Every morning I milk her to keep her production somewhat up.
Every morning I have to dump it out.

This hurts my soul, until September 7th, when we can start consuming again. 😮‍💨
