A little reminder from our family to yours ❤️🌽
This has been a HARD year for us on the farm. The weather hasn’t cooperated, we haven’t had the rain we needed, and our crops simply haven’t produced like they normally do. We wish we had a full produce stand every single day, but sometimes with farming it’s just out of our hands.
What we can promise is that we are working our tails off to grow the best produce we possibly can and keep our little farm store going. There is a family behind this stand—we plant, pick, wash, pack, stock, and work long hours to make it all happen.
Lately, we’ve had a few folks come in and be downright rude because we didn’t have something they wanted. Or it didn’t look the way they wanted it to. We completely understand being disappointed when your favorite item is sold out, but being ugly to the people working hard to serve you isn’t okay.
We’re happy to answer questions, we’re happy to help, and we’re grateful for every single customer who walks through our doors. But we also ask for a little kindness and understanding. ❤️
Nobody comes to work every day trying to have an empty shelf. We’re doing the best we can with the year we’ve been given.
To all of you who have continued to support our family, shop local, encourage us, and understand the ups and downs of farming—THANK YOU. We truly appreciate you more than you know. 🌱❤️
And for those who feel the need to be rude… respectfully, we don’t have time for that. 😉
