Red, White & Boots was a blast!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit the Burks Family Alpacas. We loved seeing all the smiles, meeting new friends, & being part of another amazing Marion Connects Third Thursday. We appreciate all the support and can’t wait for the next adventure!

Burks Family Alpaca Farm & Race Team Weekend Recap!
What a wonderful weekend! Friday started at the Crab Orchard Library, where we loved seeing so many families & watching the kids who visit us grow year after year. That evening, Danny Jolly jumped into the Rod Wheeler kart at Belle Rive Speedway & brought home the win in 13 HP!

Saturday, we received a warm welcome at Mt. Vernon Paw Fest, where Wolff Moon and Casanova won Tallest Pet!

The night ended at Southern Illinois Raceway where Bryndle & Oscar had the honor of presenting the colors during the National Anthem. Jaxton drove to an impressive 3rd place finish in Restricted Micros, while Danny Jolly battled some tough luck in both the U2 Mod Lite (4th place finish) & the #7 Dwarf.

We are so grateful for everyone who supports Burks Family Alpaca Farm.

Burks Family Alpaca Farm is on the move this week! We’ve got a busy weekend ahead and we’d love to see you along the way!

Join us as part of the Summer Reading Program for alpaca meet’n greets, photos, & lots of smiles!

After Paw Fest, we’ll be heading to the track, SIR to cheer on the Burks Family Alpaca Racing Team! Be sure to root for Danny Jolly & Jaxton Burks as they hit the dirt and chase checkered flags!

From books to pets to racing, it’s going to be a fun-filled weekend. Stop by, say hello, grab a photo with the alpacas, and then join us at the races!

Thursday we had an absolute blast at Herrin Elementary's 2nd Grade Barn Yard Bash loads of alpaca fun, smiles, & lots of learning with the kids!
Saturday we headed to Feather Hill Vineyard for another beautiful day with our alpaca crew, amazing people from all over the US & So.Il. Plenty of snips & snuggles.
Then it was race time at Southern Illinois Raceway cheering on the Burks
Family Alpaca Race Team! *
& Danny Jolly, picked up a Modlite heat race win, had a mishap that sent him to the back, then charged his way back up to 5th place!
& Jaxton Burks, also had his work cut out for him after drawing toward the back, drove his way up to 7th!
Both drivers put on a hard-working, never-give-up kind of night & we couldn't be more proud!
• AND... something LITTLE is coming to Burks Family Alpaca Farm.
Very little. Unique & Very unexpected.
That's all we're saying for now.
