Located in southern Illinois, we are eat up with all things dairy goats!

Though he occasionally forgets goat names, tells stories that are somewhat exaggerated, and interrupts my paperwork responsbilities, we still love him and want to wish the FARMHAND a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

But don’t for a second think he gets a day off just because it’s his birthday! There is work that needs to be done!😉🎉🎂🥳

While the farmhand and I were out judging in North Carolina and Texas this weekend, Cade’s Lil Farm goats were still out there making waves!🌊🌊🌊

Congratulations to HMH Farms for winning Grand Champion Senior Doe with Cade’s Lil Farm CJ Presto at the Smoky Mountain Dairy Goat Association show yesterday in Harriman, TN!

Presto is a 2 year old second freshening daughter of GCH Cade’s Lil Farm KMD Vanish 3*M EEEE 91 and Primrose Hill U Cullasaja *B.

Carwyn is a 6th generation Cade’s Lil Farm doe, going back to SGCH Cade’s Lil Farm Magic 2*M VEEE 91. Magic and Meggie were full sisters. She needs a little more time to mature, but I am so impressed with her front end assembly, level topline, and udder shape. She is one to watch out for!

We had a great weekend at the Crossroads of America Nigerian Dwarf Goat Club Summer Shindig Show in Logansport, IN! Since we judged the NDGA show on Saturday morning, we only brought a few goats to show in the ADGA shows.

• Cade’s Lil Farm T Moonshade was Junior Champion under judge Sam Stokes

• Cade’s Lil Farm REV Myrtle was Reserve Junior Champion under judge Sam Stokes

• Cade’s Lil Farm CJ Charm was Reserve Junior Champion under judge Kelcie Wolboldt

• Hidden Palms Moon Station “Tutu” was Reserve Senior Champion under both Kelcie Wolboldt and Don Bergfield

We are incredibly happy with how our small show string placed at such a competitive Nigerian Dwarf show. Now the goats get to rest for a few weeks before the National Show while the CEO and the Farmhand go judge!

We are excited about this fancy yearling milker. The first daughter of Cade’s Lil Farm CJ Revolution that we have seen freshen, we appreciate the dairy strength, openness of rib, and strength of feet and legs. Her mammary system is well attached and strong in the medial. This will be a fun one to watch develop!

Dandelion is a herd favorite and she has developed quite the fan club. Though she never misses a meal, she is still sharp, dairy, and angular. She carries tremendous body capacity and a tremendous mammary system. She earned all three of her legs as a milking doe, finishing her championship this weekend and going Best of Breed. We love her!
