This past spring, we were approached by a local school about the possibility of welcoming a couple of interns. We said yes—and what started as two interns grew into an amazing group of six paid youth interns!
Throughout their time with us, they learned about kitchen safety, proper hygiene, teamwork, and, of course, the art of making our heart-shaped empanadas.
We were so fortunate to have such an incredible group of young people join our team. It was wonderful watching them learn new skills, gain confidence, and experience what it’s like to be part of a working kitchen.
We are incredibly proud of all six of them and grateful for the hard work, enthusiasm, and energy they brought to our kitchen. We hope this experience gave them not only great memories, but also valuable skills they can carry with them into the future.
