Our philosophy is to "Live 'til you die" and restore the land to provide healthy food for ourselves and our customers. We are extreme

environmentalists who live what we preach, make our own fuel from waste oil, provide our own fertilizer with animal waste, make our own lumber from our trees, heat with renewable wood from the forest, and eat mostly our own food. Congratulations to Van “Pigtails” Phan, age 52, from Lakewood, Washington, who finished her 100th 100-miler this weekend at Hamster 32 Hour Endurance Run in Bellingham, Washington. She is the 25th member of the 100x100 club.

She began running ultras in 2003 and has finished more than 400 ultras and more than 600 races of a marathon or longer, with a goal to reach 1,000. She ran her first 100-miler in 2006. In addition, she has attacked the 200-milers and has finished 18 ultras of 200 miles or longer. She has been a prolific racer, finishing 52+ marathons or ultras in a year, three years in a row. In her 100 100-milers, she has won more than 20 of them.

Just got word that my gearbox and U joint are ready for pick up. Looks like I will spend tomorrow reinstalling them. All those skinned knuckles and serious mistakes taking things apart are coming back to help me. Flying J Farm will have the lawn mowed again if all goes well.
