Closed Oct 31st We’re excited about our new corn maze and activities area called “The Hollow”. Set back off the highway and secluded from the hustle and bustle, “Th

e Hollow” is a great escape this time of year. Come spend the day with us this fall, as the leaves turn, the kids enjoy the fresh air, and you can escape with the family! (P.S bring your lawn chair if you like, sit back and relax under one of the ol’ cottonwood trees)

Get to Know Us!🚜

Welcome to Hankins Farms — where family, hard work, and a love for the land have been growing strong for over six generations! Since 1910, the Hankins family has been proud to call this farm home, passing down not just the land, but the values and traditions that come with it.

Today, Harlan Hankins carries on the family legacy with pride. His love for farming runs deep, and so does his love for family. Harlan’s grandparents and father farmed corn, potatoes, sugar beets, wheat, barley, cattle, and sheep — and that same spirit of dedication continues to guide him today.

When he’s not in the field, Harlan’s story takes a fun twist — he’s also a Johnstown/Milliken Lions Club member and lifelong wrestling coach! After competing at Roosevelt High School and later at University of Oklahoma and Colorado State University, Harlan returned home to coach at Roosevelt for nearly 50 years. His commitment to his athletes and town earned him a spot in both the Roosevelt High School Hall of Fame (2022), and The National Wrestling Hall of Fame as National Assistant Wrestling Coach of the Year (2014).

These days, Harlan focuses on growing sweet corn, winter wheat, silage corn, and shell corn, but what means the most to him isn’t just the harvest — it’s the people gathered around it. As Harlan puts it best:

“The best part about living on the farm is that my family will always have a place to gather and call home.”

We’re proud to share that same sense of home and community with everyone who visits. Whether you’re here for the corn maze, the perfect pumpkins, or old fashioned fun — welcome to the Hankins family!❤️
