At Maple Row Sugarhouse we are all about pure Maple syrup(God's natural sweetener) and everything Maple. In 2011 we made our first 5 gallons of maple syrup from the sap of 4 maple trees in front of the old farm house in Jones, Michigan. With a new found passion for pure maple syrup we now maintain several local Maple Sugar Bushes. Come maple season when the weather conditions are just right we har

vest sap from local maple trees in Southwest Michigan, bring it back to our Sugarhouse and boil it with care and family pride. Since then we've made over 6,000 gallons of maple syrup and shipped it to many states around the continent. It's an old fashioned sweetness available in a modern way.

Just another day at the farm where the jobs are muddy, the helpers are tiny, and the baby yaks are stealing everyone’s attention. Between wrangling the herd and sneaking in baby snuggles, we’d call that a pretty good day. 🌾🪣

Getting work done! 🚜🪨
This week's mission on the farm: evicting approximately one million rocks from the field so we can plant alfalfa for the yak herd. Turns out yaks appreciate a well-prepared salad bar. 🌱🦬
Every bucket of rocks means greener pasture ahead. Farm life: equal parts dirt, determination, and “how are there STILL more rocks?”

Spring cleaning at the farm is officially underway 🧹🚜
The barns are getting cleaned out, winter clutter is disappearing, and everyone has been hard at work tackling the endless list of farm projects that magically appear this time of year.
Of course, I couldn’t just let them work in peace… so naturally I turned it into a dance video instead. 💃😅
Nothing motivates farm labor quite like someone waving a camera around while you’re cleanung. 🎶🐐

Spring is in full swing here at Maple Row Sugarhouse 🌱🌼
The flowers are blooming, the garden is finally going in, and we’ve got rows of fresh produce starting their journey from tiny seeds to summer dinners. The little sapsuckers have been a huge help around the farm, digging in the dirt, hauling tools twice their size, and learning firsthand how things grow around here.
Turns out kids who plant tomatoes are a lot more invested in eating tomatoes. Farm science at its finest. 🍅🪴

One thing we love around here is watching the kids figure things out with their own two hands. 🛠️🚗

When you grow up around people fixing tractors, repairing sap lines, tinkering in the shop, and making things last instead of tossing them out, it starts to rub off. Today’s project: toy car repairs.

It may just look like a kid fixing a toy, but to us it’s learning patience, problem-solving, and the confidence to say, “I can probably fix this.” And around Maple Row, that’s a pretty good life skill to grow up with. 🍁

At Maple Row Sugarhouse, we’re still doing things the old fashioned way around here 🍁

We’re a small family farm, and a lot of what we do still happens by hand, including labeling syrup bottles in small batches one at a time.

We may not move at big factory speed, but every bottle that leaves our farm has been handled with care by real people who love what they do.
