What a weekend! Three shows packed into two days, and we are tired! The lambs definitely are too—they were falling asleep in the trailer before today’s show even started. We made our way from Auxvasse to Troy this weekend, so at least we stayed fairly close to home.

We’re proud of these kids for continuing to work hard. This weekend’s results:

☀️Boone County Showdown

Kinzey

* 5th Overall Intermediate Showman
* 4th in Class 4 with “Donut”
Sired by Thank Me Later
Purchased from Thayer Club Lambs

Chase

* 3rd in Class 7 with “Betsy”
Bruno x Fleener 2243
Raised and bred by us

☀️Callaway Classic

Kinzey

* 3rd in Class 3 with Donut

Chase

* 3rd in Class 7 with Betsy

☀️Lincoln County Jackpot

Kinzey

* 3rd in Class 17 with Donut

Chase

* 5th Overall Showman
* 5th in Class 20 with Betsy

Wouldn’t want to spend our weekends any other way! Every mile traveled, every early morning, and every dollar spent is worth it right?! 🤪

Little behind on our show season updates, but we have been busy! We have only taken two lambs to jackpot shows — one of our own lambs and one Kinzey purchased (two we are holding for our fair). We sold the rest. We are excited to watch everyone else’s season unfold as fair season gets rolling and lambs start packing on more weight.

“Donut”3rd in class

⭐️ Cooper County Preview:
“Betsy”-4th in class
“Donut”-6th in class

We’re keeping our other two lambs at home in the barn getting ready for fair season. We usually don’t like to jackpot them around too much because we’re focused on keeping weight on them, keeping them fresh, and having them ready for our fair.

This year hasn’t gone exactly how we expected with Kinzey’s purchased lamb, but she has handled every challenge with such maturity and determination. She purchased a lamb with her own money and it’s been a tough waiting for her handshake, especially since she could’ve got a “free” one at home 😂 , but we couldn’t be prouder of the showman she is. She’s put in a lot of hours and it shows. Chase is out there putting in the work and doing great in showmanship and we are so proud of him too!

More show updates to come — and good luck to everyone gearing up for fair season!

Got home late from a baseball game. Didn’t stop her from heading to the barn to work. She’s got the fever (royalty free music stinks)

Our favorite kind of Friday nights! Handed over the clippers and enjoyed some family time in the barn. ❤️

Nothing fills my cup like watching your kids fall in love with something that’s been part of your heart for so long. Carrying on a family tradition hits different ❤️

These past two years it’s really clicked for Kinzey—her drive, her passion, her grit… she makes me so proud every single day.

Who needs therapy when you’ve got this kind of purpose and peace. Giving my daughter everything I once dreamed of, and watching her make it her own.

This is my why.

💇‍♀️ first shear of the year done on this group, they aren’t sure how to feel being bald
(Also we are joking, we do not use listers on our kids 😜)

This year we’re handing out 36 shirts to our amazing lamb buyers 🤯 From returning supporters to new faces, we truly appreciate every single one of you. We can’t wait to see you all wearing your swag and representing our family farm!

It’s wild to think we started with just 6 lambs and 3 T-shirts… and now look how far we’ve come 🐑❤️

Thank you for supporting our dream.

These kids and the camera 🤦🏻‍♀️ Took advantage of the weather and started getting some of the lambs acclimated to being handled.
