Little behind on our show season updates, but we have been busy! We have only taken two lambs to jackpot shows — one of our own lambs and one Kinzey purchased (two we are holding for our fair). We sold the rest. We are excited to watch everyone else’s season unfold as fair season gets rolling and lambs start packing on more weight.

We’re keeping our other two lambs at home in the barn getting ready for fair season. We usually don’t like to jackpot them around too much because we’re focused on keeping weight on them, keeping them fresh, and having them ready for our fair.
This year hasn’t gone exactly how we expected with Kinzey’s purchased lamb, but she has handled every challenge with such maturity and determination. She purchased a lamb with her own money and it’s been a tough waiting for her handshake, especially since she could’ve got a “free” one at home 😂 , but we couldn’t be prouder of the showman she is. She’s put in a lot of hours and it shows. Chase is out there putting in the work and doing great in showmanship and we are so proud of him too!
More show updates to come — and good luck to everyone gearing up for fair season!
