Hiker “Plus One” has a dog that is injured and was in need of a few zero days. So Mary Poppins is taking care of the injured dog for a few day while lending her dog Summit hike with Plus One. That’s awesome! 😎

Yesterday I received a txt from “Tank” a SOBO hiker who had made a reservation. He informed me that he was not able to make his reservation. He requested that we forward his stay to another SOBO hiker.

This evening SOBO hiker “The dude” walked into camp and wanted to eat, shower and do laundry. Next thing you know it’s hiker midnight and he’s still waiting for his laundry to dry. It was the perfect opportunity to pass on “Tanks” request.

The dude was more than thankful to be the recipient of this kind gesture.

Some say that “The trail provides” we say “God provides” and we are thankful for the opportunity to help connect the dots…. 🙏
