Getting the Bunk Haus up the hill was a complete pain. We had to adapt and overcome some obstacles to get it place.
If you have never seen a shed being put in place by a Mule. It’s a pretty good video of it happening.

Here is a sneak peek of our “tiny” delivery yesterday.
Our goal is to make it into a retreat for couples. A place to celebrate making it past the halfway point of the AT. We want it to be a place for guests to enjoy a zero day with us and totally get to unwind and relax. It’s located completely away from where our other guests will be at. Giving you the most privacy available at Stay-AT-Swatara and we are located only 200ft from the AT!

Some people would say we are insane.🤪
This week we sold our primary residence in a once small community that is being rapidly developed. To chase our dream of becoming a “must stay” Hostel on the AT.

As of yesterday we now officially live full time at Stay-AT-Swatara! We have big plans for the property and like always we will keep you updated on our progress.

Pre-construction work has started but we are about a month out from hammering nails. 🔨 🙌
