A season of rest is coming for the farm, and we want you to be in the know and plan ahead. Please read the information below and let me know if you have any questions❤️
Good morning, friends! As the chill officially enters the air, I need to share what the cold months will be looking like for us here at 4A Farmstead.
Last winter was absolutely brutal trying to keep the farmstand open. It’s just a farmstand so trying to heat our structure to keep things from freezing was nearly impossible. On top of that, I truly need a break to rest and recover from a wild busy season. I am so thankful for every loaf and goodie I got to bake, but, man, I am pooped!
So, Josh and I landed on a schedule, that is subject to change, but this is what we landed on for now. I am sharing this information now so you can plan ahead. Whether that means buying an extra loaf or two at the farmstand to freeze or sourcing your baked goods elsewhere while I take a break. I give you my blessing to eat someone else’s bread😅 we truly have so many great sourdough bakers in Lebanon county!
The schedule in the graphic below outlines what our plan is right now. Like I said, things are always subject to change here, but I wanted to share our plan as of now. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message😃
As always, I am so happy to be here❤️ baking for you and running this farmstand has been such an unexpected and humbling outpouring of the Lord’s love. He has truly guided us and directed us with everything we do here, and we are listening as He calls us into a season of rest. It will be hard keeping my hands out of the dough for a bit, but I know the rest will bring new fruit.
Jesus loves you!
