Welcome to Midnight Magdalena Vineyards where we are “Raising Authentic Wines.” We are a family owned and operated vineyard located on over 50 acres in the Swan Creek AVA. The long days of sunshine and unique micro-climate of our vineyard provide an excellent setting to produce the quality grapes for our authentic wines. We planted the 4,100 vines over a rainy week, and our dog Midnight was right
there with us every day keeping a watchful eye on everything. Over the next three years, we carefully tended the vineyard working to keep the vines healthy in preparation for our first harvest in the fall of 2015. We like to think about raising the vines the same as raising kids. The first few years they seem so fragile and need so much care, but they are tougher than they look. The first harvest was like watching them go to school for the very first time, scary and exciting all at once. At the end of 2014 we purchased another 16 acres across the road from our vineyard where we completed construction on the tasting room in December 2015. This will also be where we plant additional vines bringing our total vineyard up to about 10 acres.
