We want to thank all who have supported our efforts to make JOMO Friendsgiving happen this year. We didn’t want to have to make this announcement but we are going to have to cancel this years event.
We are extremely grateful to those who have offered their help & support this year it just wasn’t enough to pull together a successful community gathering.
We truly hope that next year we can all come together to make JOMO Friendsgiving happen again! We hope everyone has a safe & warm holiday season!

We are actively planning for this years Friendsgiving Celebration!! If your non profit or business would like to sponsor, collaborate or be involved in this years event please reach out!! For those unfamiliar we held out very first JOMO FRIENDSGIVING event in 2022 & it was a MASSIVE SUCCESS!! We had at least 200 people we fed & gave away so many toys, gift cards & other amazing prizes!! ALL FROM OUR COMMUNITIES ❤️❤️❤️ LETS MAKE THIS YEAR BIGGER & BETTER!!!

We are needing:
— A venue - that is free/cheap
— Food donations for our Thanksgiving meal
new toy/clothing/book donations for our free raffle for those in attendance
giftcards to local businesses/restaurant/other services
Volunteers to help setup/serve/run the event

Don't forget JOMO Friendsgiving!! THIS FRIDAY!!! 12pm-6pm at Unity of Joplin located at Jackson & A Street. Parking will be available at North Middle School located at 102 Gray Ave with shuttles being provided by Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri!!
