LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY, WE HAVE A DIFFICULT ANNOUNCEMENT.

After much prayer, honest consideration, and looking carefully at both the financial reality of the shop and Waynes health, we have made the difficult decision, September 9. will be the last day for Lighthouse Coffee & Mercantile.

The shop has continued losing money month after month, and my health will no longer allow me to keep carrying the physical demands required to operate it. Continuing this way would not be wise, responsible, or sustainable.

We are not sharing this to ask for pity. We are sharing it because you have supported this little coffee shop, prayed for us, encouraged us, and become part of the Lighthouse family. You deserve honesty, and you deserve our deepest thanks.

Between now and September 9, we plan to continue serving our community while working through our remaining food inventory. Food items will be available while supplies last and will not be restocked once sold out. We will share any necessary hour changes here on our page.

Today’s Scripture:

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

This season is ending, but God is not. We trust Him with what comes next, and we are thankful for every person He allowed Lighthouse to serve along the way.

Please come see us during these final days at 901 S. Maiden Lane in Joplin. We love and appreciate our Lighthouse family more than words can properly express.

WE’RE BACK OPEN, AND IT’S FRAPPE FRIDAY!

After taking yesterday to rest, we are back and ready to serve our Lighthouse family. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and prayers.

Every new morning is another reminder of God’s mercy and faithfulness. Whatever this week has held, His compassion has not run out.

Lighthouse Coffee & Mercantile will be CLOSED today, Thursday, August 27.

I have been dealing with a lot of back issues recently, and unfortunately, I need to take today to rest and allow my body time to recover.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Good morning, Lighthouse family!

The Lighthouse H.V.C. is our featured drink this week, and today is Double Punch Wednesday. Every drink purchase earns two punches, but you will need to come see us early.

We will be closing at 11:00 AM today for yet another doctor appointment.

We are having issues with door dash, and have had to turn it off for the day. Do apologize, as we are waiting for product ordered, we had to turn off DD as its not turning off the products that have things we are currently waiting for todays delivery.
