The last several days have been a blur.
Jim has been helping neighbors fight the fires.
I’ve been helping look for cows and try to gather up what we can.
I received a text we had a calf in a place I had already rode 3 times during and sense the fire.
So off we went this morning to go gather her up.
So excited we had a live one.
As we got there the excitement quickly turned to hopefully she lives.
Her lungs are badly damaged from the smoke.
It took us hours to walk her out of the canyon to our corrals.
She is home in the shade with all the fresh,cold water and hay she can eat.
Time will tell, but we will keep trying to be optimistic for the rest of our cattle and our neighbors that are still missing.

We would like to Thank each and everyone of you for your thoughts and prayers and outpouring of support.
Blessed beyond measure is all I can say.

We were able to get most of our cows out of the fire 🙌🏻
As we left yesterday with last ones we could find, the flames were nipping on our heals again.
As I looked back one more time before we pulled out with the loaded trailer, I could see flames right at the house.
But today to my surprise the house and barn are still there 🙌🏻
The well house did not escape the fire and was consumed.

This is so devastating for all involved.
We have many neighbors, friends feeling the same pain.
The fire is not over by any means.
We need air support. This country is to rough to fight strictly by water
tankers.
Please keep all our crews lifted up in prayer.
