Four Seasons Farm (FSF) Dairy Goats

Four Seasons Farm (FSF) Dairy Goats We raise high quality registered Saanen dairy goats in Jordan, MN. Our herd participated in official milk test and linear appraisal.

We also enjoy consuming and promoting dairy goat products. Four Seasons Farm is owned by Chris & Laura Kieser. We are members of the ADGA Plus program which means that our herd is on official DHIA milk test & participates in the ADGA linear appraisal program. We (the goats and their care takers) love to have visitors in small groups, but we do ask that you call or email us before coming out. We do work off farm jobs and need to coordinate with our schedules.

June milk test has the girls hitting all cylinders! A 12.4 # average this morning, with all of our milking yearlings above 10 #. They are doing what they love every day: eating, relaxing, enjoying life, and putting milk in the bucket! Arentina takes the top of the leader board this month at 15.3 #.

When you don't show goats anymore, you volunteer at a goat show. At least that's what I did this past weekend. Leaving the the engineer home to his own devices, you never know what projects will get tackled. This time, he dug in and terraced the kid pen/hill on Saturday all by himself! This was so much work, and has been needed for such a long time. Then, this evening the engineer decided the kids needed their very own natural jungle gym. He built one and tested it out! This guy is amazing. I think I'll keep him. Not sure what has kept him in this crazy goat life this long! (FB won't let me post 2 videos, so a clip of the terraces will be in the comments. )💜

Candid photo of littermate daughters from FSF General Rosemary: FSF Summit Rosaleen and FSF Summit Ryanne stood next to each other in the parlor this morning. Milking yearlings, Rosaleen is 4 weeks fresh. Ryanne is 10 weeks into her lactation. Off to a wonderful start.

Snapped a candid of Tempo Passa Winstead this morning. Just over 1 year old, with his first kid crop on the ground here. A goat being a goat, is still handsome. The kids we've seen so far have beautiful rear leg set and general appearance.

We often get asked about available does or doe kids. Most are private treaty. This little beauty is available just based on circumstance. This cutie, with all the right parts and so much potential, was born April 24. Sired by our 2023 ADGA Spotlight Sale buck: Old-English Re*****on. Dam: milking yearling and FSF General Rosemary x Vineyard View True Summit daughter, FSF Summit Rosaleen. Rosaleen produced 8.3 # of milk on her first test, just 11 DIM. Pictures included: Doe Kid V15, planned pedigree, dam: Rosaleen as a kid, granddam: Rosemary, rear and foreudder of Rosaleen, and two different 2 year old Re*****on daughters showing the consistent mammaries he has produced in our herd. This potential packed doe kid is tattooed, had cdt, lambar trained and is ready to go. 7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. Located in Jordan, MN.

We might be a little late in starting, but this morning brought our first milk test of 2026. With 3 yearlings in the mix, we're pretty happy with the results. We might be out of the show ring, but the girls still hold their own in the pail! Poor Rosemary had a low weight because she's dealing with some rumen upset. She's in good spirits, but making milk is the last thing on her priority list.

Since I only took 4 photos prior to the event, and Jackie summarized it so nicely... I'm sharing the thank you post from Next Chapter Winery. What an amazing day. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy Baby Goat Day at Next Chapter Winery! Special thanks to everyone who makes this possible behind the scenes. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to do this! See you in 2027!
