Not everything comes out equal when you split your hives. These three are the parent colonies.

That means these three had the over wintered queens. Queens from last year.

The 2 on the outside are very busy making honey. The center one is not.

Was getting ready to start a bonfire. Put in all my sticks I collected and was adding crumpled newspaper. Then I looked up, about 5 feet away, just the other side of the rock ring, next to my red chair, I saw this cutie.... no fire for me today.
