You have not heard much from me about drought and grasshoppers this year. While the area as a whole has maybe not been as fortunate as right here around town, it has been a much better year for most of us in this county.
We just received a good shower again this morning, with the promise of some more before the day expires. Much of the area south, along the I-94 corridor is supposed to be getting a good drink today.
In late July, I traveled to Butte. Home was the greenest place I saw in all those miles. We have truly been blessed to still have green grass growing and to have ran a little water in some dams.
