🍞❤️ A Message from The Bread Lady ❤️🍞
This is a post I never thought I would have to write.
Over the last several months, I have poured my heart into baking for this community. Every loaf, cookie, cinnamon roll, and pastry has been made with love, and your support has meant more to me than I can put into words.
Unfortunately, the rising cost of ingredients, packaging, and supplies has made it increasingly difficult to continue. Like many small businesses, I've watched expenses climb while trying to keep prices affordable for my customers.
After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to step back from baking for the time being.
This isn't because I don't love what I do. Quite the opposite. Baking has been a source of joy, comfort, and connection for me. But right now, the numbers simply aren't adding up in a way that makes continuing sustainable.
I want to thank every single person who placed an order, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or supported The Bread Lady in any way. You helped make a dream possible, and I will always be grateful for that.
This may be goodbye for now, or it may simply be a pause while I figure out what comes next.
