Since 2000, Backyard Gardens has been committed to bringing fresh, seasonal, and delicious foods to Wallowa County and beyond through its farm and catering business. Located in Joseph, Oregon, we grow a wide variety of produce for CSA, farmers’ markets, restaurants, and individuals, as well as for use in our catering business. Our high-altitude location features rich soil, clean water, and a short
growing season that helps produce incredibly sweet vegetables. The farm is known for its fresh salad greens, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and plant starts, which are available from June through October through our CSAs, at the Wallowa County Farmers’ Markets, via email orders, and at several local retailers and restaurants. Our catering business offers fresh, seasonal and delicious food tastefully prepared and attractively presented for any occasion in Wallowa County or across the country. We specialize in using local food products whenever possible, including naturally grown produce from our own farm. We can also help design your menu and orchestrate the details for your event.
