Based in Los Angeles, California, Joshua Tree Brewing has been producing handcrafted homebrews since February 2012. With an emphasis on quality and taste, the beers from Joshua Tree Brewing have stood up to the top commercial craft beers in blind taste tests. From Brewmasters and true craft beer aficionados, Philip Cook, Todd Miller, Gary Tieche and John Schuster. Although all of the Brewmasters h
ave a “day job,” we all are passionate about good beer. Joshua Tree focuses on and has been fine-tuning its recipes for ales, brewing American-style pale ales, hopped up IPAs, a British-style ESB (we affectionately call our volcano recipe), nut brown ales, a steam beer, and a 9.0% ABV oatmeal stout. In addition, our first batch of wheat apricot ale during holiday season 2013 got rave reviews, and our Joshua Tree Honey Ale, based on the POTUS's white house honey ale recipe and using honey from a Joshua Tree-area beekeeper, is a perennial favorite. Joshua Tree Brewing’s founders have been following closely the craft beer scene in Los Angeles, and believe that LA could be the next big headline in the evolution of craft beer in America. We are exploring plans to open a small brewery and gastropub, and lining up expertise to make sure the beer and the food are second to none. In the meantime, we keep making and tasting beer, identifying the best of what makes you look forward to your next pint.
