Our resident food truck will be open at Noon today serving up pizzas, quesadilla and bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers! Stop and say hi to Ox and enjoy some delicious food and beer! Food available until 6 or until it sells out. Cold, delicious beer on tap all day! Check out our new Octoberfest and the very rare Bloodsicle IPA with vanilla and Blood Oranges!

Beat the crowds in town and check out this great food! Food happens every Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Great beer seven days a week!

For all of my gardening and farming friends....

We will have spent hops from our new wet hop pale ale brew today available for pickup around 5 pm. The used hops are super rich in nitrogen and great for composting or mixing into soil/fertilizer.
They can also be mixed into pig feed tho I am not aware of any other animal that is crazy about them.

Trash bags of spent hops will be sitting by our dumpster by 5 pm and they can be picked up anytime. First come first served but we will have at least 4 trash bags full of them.

Feel free to share with anyone who might be interested. I would rather see them get used than thrown away. Thank you! Tom

Tomorrow is The second annual Julian Beer Fest from 12 to 4 here at Nickel Beer. Ox will be serving Pizza de oeuf. Fancy! He will akso have some other favorites. Stop by! See ya on the hill!

Come hungry and thirsty today to Nickel Beer! Our resident Food Truck will be open 12 to 4 today. Be sure to try the amazing pizzas!

And there will be lots of great beer on tap, including fresh batches of Cheat Sheet IPA and Lake Cuyamaca Lager! And for dark beer fans, we have stout, porter and imperial stout!

It's a scorcher, but we have the remedy. Starting with One Night In Bamberg. This German inspired, smokey, malt forward beer will do the trick. Or grab a pint of our Blood Sweat and Orange IPA. Always a summertime favorite. Ox will be open from about 3 to 7 while supplies last. So come on up and join us on the hill!

Fresh Blood Sweat and Orange IPA just tapped for the first time ever in July thanks to a very long citrus harvest in Valley Center!

We have this Blood Orange IPA and our Blood Orange Double IPA, Citrus Got Real, on tap right now!

Look for our Food Truck to be serving both Friday and Saturday afternoon this weekend!

The Sip of Julian is THIS SATURDAY! Come enjoy this tour of Julian's many diverse tasting rooms including Beer, Cider, Wine, Cocktails and Mead! Tickets are $35 with DD and Shuttle Service options available. The event runs from 11 am to 5 pm and the whole thing is a fundraiser for Julian's Country Christmas!

We will have great beer on tap all weekend including our Julian Apple Pie Ale, Filthy Paws Porter and Yellow Card IPA - a collab with our friends at Burning Beard!
