With heavy hearts, we share some difficult news…

This is the kind of post no small business owner ever wants to write, but here we are. After pouring everything we have into this little BBQ dream, we are sad to announce that The Meat Wagon will be closing. This month will be our final run, and our last day of service will be Saturday, May 17th

Due to ongoing medical reasons and the rising cost of everything from supplies to fuel, it’s simply no longer feasible, or economically possible for us to keep going. We’ve held our prices steady for two years, always trying to make great BBQ accessible, but the reality is in order to continue, we would have to raise them beyond what feels fair to you, our loyal customers.

This has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. But despite the sadness, our hearts are also full. We are SO grateful for every one of you who supported us, believed in us, waited in line, sent kind messages, and came back week after week. Because of YOU, we got to live this crazy BBQ adventure and meet so many amazing people we now call our BBQ family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you for making this ride worth every minute.
Thank you for the love.
Thank you for the memories.

We’ll still be serving up our smoky best through May 17th
