Pssst 🤫 You know that delicious “Creamy Jalapeño Ranch” dip at a certain Tex-Mex restaurant that some compare to crack? Well.. I happen to make a copycat version. It’s not a new recipe to my repertoire, I have been making it for years and mostly for family gatherings. Today I decided to make it, and using it, I made a Creamy Jalapeño Coleslaw with red onions, cilantro, lime juice, s&p, and a little sweetness to cut the tart. Perfect side dish to go with our street tacos for dinner! If you decide you want some dip and don’t want to make the drive to Lexington to get it, you know how to find me! 😉 $8 for a pint $16 for a quart. If Buttermilk should go back down below $4 a half-gallon, I will change the price to reflect. But for now, we’re riding this inflation wave together. 🎢 Have a great weekend!

I just had to add an “after” photo. Nine hours in the crockpot, finished up under the broiler! Yum!! 🤤 I made some au jus gravy from the broth, drippings and cooked onions!

**Give Away!!**

Busy prepping deviled eggs for a finger food graduation party. I haven’t decided if they will be cheddar-bacon or pimiento cheese deviled eggs. Ooh! Beer cheese sounds good too. Hmm..
PSA: If you’ve never had cheese in your deviled eggs you’re seriously missing out!
If you can guess (closest without going over) how many eggs I’ve boiled for this event, I will gift you your choice of a pint of classic pimiento cheese, OR a jar of jam!
Also.. why is it I can never seem to make deviled eggs without at least one splitting? 🫤🥚🤷🏼‍♀️

The food wheels in my brain are spinning again… have you had smoked queso? I’m a fan of hickory smoke myself. This is a picture of one of them we’ve made (before it hit the grill/smoker). Well… I’m thinking smoked Pimiento sounds reaaaaaaallllly good.

Since I began making the White Pimiento, the prices of the specific cheeses I use has increased, as well as meats and everything else it seems. I’m now losing money on each batch. Please understand that I only use quality ingredients to put out the best possible product that I can, and I’m not willing to sacrifice the quality of food for the price of my product. At the same time, I can’t consciously continue to sell them for $6 and lose money. Regrettably, I have to raise the price of White Pimiento, Chicken and Ham Salad to $8. The Classic will remain the same as long as those costs do not rise. Thank you for your understanding.

Just a quick announcement. To try and organize my life a little bit, I will be accepting orders Friday-Tuesday, and delivering/hosting meet-ups on Thursdays & Fridays. Wednesday will be preparation day, so if you order after Tuesday, it will be for the following week. If there is an event or something you need on a Saturday just let me know ahead of time and I will try to work that out for you.

Hey guys! Happy May the 4th! Just want to make a quick announcement. We’ve got a lot going on this coming week including moving our EKU student out of her dorm. I will only be taking orders to deliver on Thursday the 12th. I will return Monday the 16th ready to accept more orders. Until then, have a WONDERFUL Mother’s Day, stay healthy and be blessed! 🫶🏼
