🫐 BLUEBERRIES ARE STARTING TO COME IN! 🫐

The blueberry patch is finally starting to turn blue, and the first buckets are filling up. There’s still plenty of green out there, but every day more berries are ripening and getting sweeter. 🌱☀️

These berries are picked fresh, packed with flavor, and worth the wait. Looking down the rows and seeing buckets filling up is a sure sign that summer is arriving at The Vegetable Man’s Country Market.

The harvest is just getting started, and if the weather cooperates, there are a whole lot more blueberries coming behind these. Stay tuned for availability and picking updates!

🍯🐝 Our honey is more than just a sweet treat—it’s part of what helps make our farm grow.

These hardworking bees spend their days pollinating our strawberries, squash, cucumbers, watermelons, cantaloupes, pumpkins, and countless other crops. Without pollinators, many of the fruits and vegetables we grow wouldn’t produce the way they do.

While they’re busy helping our gardens and fields thrive, they give us a little bonus too—a sweet cherry on top called honey. 🍯

It’s one of nature’s greatest partnerships. The bees help pollinate the crops that feed our community, and in return we get delicious local honey straight from the hives.

So when you enjoy a jar of local honey from The Vegetable Man’s Country Market, you’re tasting the hard work of thousands of bees that help make our harvest possible all season long.

🥔🤯 We love watching nature do its thing around here.

In the first picture, you can still see the original seed potato attached to the plant. One potato went into the ground, and now look at what it turned into. Every one of those new potatoes grew from that single seed piece.

That’s one of the wild things about farming—taking something you can hold in the palm of your hand and turning it into pounds of food.

The red potatoes are sizing up nicely too, and next week we’ll start digging some fresh taters! Might even have a few beans to throw in the mix by the end of next week. 🥔🔥

🍓🥬 Fresh out of the field and headed to the tables. This time of year is what it’s all about around here.

Sweet corn tasseling, fresh pulled leeks, fresh picked strawberries(very limited supply), green onions, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, sugar snap peas, squash and zucchini, cabbage, beautiful cauliflower and even some purple cauliflower showing off. 🌱🔥

After all the rain we’ve had, it feels good seeing the fields still pushing and produce rolling in every day. We’re working hard to keep a steady supply of fresh picked vegetables coming your way.

Long days, muddy boots, and early mornings are paying off. This is the season we live for. Come see us at The Vegetable Man’s Country Market and taste the difference fresh makes.

🍅 Rows and rows and rows… and this is just ONE of THREE tomato plantings we’ll have this season.

We stagger plantings to keep a steady supply of good-size, fresh tomatoes coming instead of everything hitting at once.

A whole lot of work goes into keeping fresh, local tomatoes on your table. 🍅❤️
