We love this time of year in the packhouse! The tables are laden with all the glory of Willamette Valley agriculture, and we marvel at the productivity of our friends and collaborating farms.

This is what it looks like on Tuesdays and Fridays as Rebecca and the team pack up the eggs, fresh produce, baked goods, dairy, and dry goods.

On Mondays and Thursdays, a team from the Deck Family Farm side pulls all the meat and frozen items out of the freezer and sorts them for individual orders.

Then, all those items are put in totes and coolers and trucks and brought to our customers from Portland through Eugene.

We take them to 4 Saturday farmers markets, 19 dropsites and many home deliveries (in Eugene, Corvallis and Springfield) every week. All. Year. Long.

>Ground beef shwarma sandwiches with farmer's cheese, tahini sauce, arugula, onions and tomatoes

We have relatively small flocks of mixed breed chickens who live outdoors on pasture throughout the year. Given these facts, you should expect variability in your eggs: different colors, less standardized sizes, and fluctuating prices depending on the time of year. This summer we have had many eggs and so we lowered our prices. The supply is tightening up for us and so we are slowly raising our prices back towards normal. Our Full Farm members will continue to get the best egg prices, as they do for all our products.

We have been hard at work preparing for Scandi Fest in Junction City this weekend! Our expanded menu includes last year's amazing Swedish dumplings with lingonberry jam, as well as marinated beef skewers, cardamom buns, bacon-braised red cabbage, and cucumber salad.
