Very nice set of first calf spring bred heifers coming to Clay Center Livestock Sales September 22nd! 31 head of these heifers AI’d one round to Connealy Commerce and cleaned up with two low birthweight Angus bulls. The AI group is due to calve February 22nd with bull breds to follow March 15th. They will all have two rounds of shots and dewormer as well as zoetis genetic testing! Don’t miss this fancy set of gentle black heifers from Greg Klenda and Bill Edwards!

Stacy and Pat Letourneau dispersal of 240 head of cows and 240 head of calves selling Tuesday, September 15th at Clay Center Livestock Sales Inc. Cows will be running ages, are running with Angus bulls, and will be spring bred. Calves will have two rounds of vaccinations(spring and fall) and be split off the cows the day of the auction. They weigh approximately 350-550 pounds.

Expecting a light run for our sales this week in Clay Center (Tuesday September 1st) and Junction City (Wednesday September 2nd) due to extreme heat and larger sales last week. We will be open both days to help those who need to move some livestock.

Just a reminder no sale in Clay Center on Tuesday September 8th due to Labor Day Holiday but will will have good sales on Tuesday September 15th and 22nd. Be sure to check out the Letourneau Dipsersal of bulls, females and calf crop that will be selling both of those days!
