A NEW service that we will be providing this year is the Crosshairs Mobile Skinning Service!

Someone will travel to you, anywhere in or around Kimble County, to gut, skin, and quarter your deer for you. We will transport the head back to our shop for taxidermy work. However, we will not dispose of the carcass or transport the meat to the processor.

Pricing for this service will be based off of mileage and the time of day for the most part. When you call us, we will discuss the circumstances, and a price will be agreed upon before we come skin your deer.

Again, this is new for us this season, so there may be some kinks that we will need to sort out along the way.

As we all get ready for Opening Day, we wanted to welcome everyone back to the Hill Country and wish everyone good luck this morning as you make your way to the deer stand. We would also like to let everyone know that this year we are processing for the Wild Game Dinner at no cost to the hunter, all you will need to do is give your contact info at drop off just like normal and let us know that you would like to donate to the Wild Game Dinner and we will handle the rest. All of our pricing will remain the same as last years, and remember if you are wanting your animal mounted or hide tanned we will freeze it for you to pick up, or you can contact one of the local taxidermists and let them know that we have it and they will pick it up for you. Hey everyone, we wanted to get the word out and let everybody know that we will be closed and unavailable for pick-ups or drop-offs June 3rd -June 14th so we can spend some time with family on vacation. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time, and look forward to serving everyone again when we get back!

Opening day is finally here! We hope everyone has a fun and safe deer season, and we look forward to seeing each of you in the coming months. Hours for this deer season are 8am-9pm 7 days a week, as always feel free to contact one of our staff via cell phone if you are in need of assistance after hours all of our numbers are posted outside. Kimble Processing will be closed Christmas Day so our staff members can spend time with their families. We will be open again Sunday morning 12/26 at 8am. Thank you all, Merry Christmas!

Due to lack of space, Kimble Processing will not be processing hogs during hunting season in order to reserve space for deer. We will resume processing of hogs from March to October. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
