The Traeger Pro 780s are all cleaned up and ready for the next smoke! 🔥🍖

Our 5th BBQ competition is in the books! We were excited to take 13th place in brisket out of 49 teams! 🏆 A little disappointed in our chicken, since that’s usually our strongest category, but that’s competition BBQ!

I absolutely love competing, but man, the prep work and cleanup afterwards are no joke! 😂 What makes it all worthwhile is the camaraderie, especially getting to spend that time cooking, competing, and making memories with my son and my brother. That’s what it’s really all about!

On to the next one! Smoke on and cheers, y’all! 🍻🔥

That’s a Wrap! Eli’s Backyard BBQ Team!

Another competition in the books! Wrapped up at 7 PM, home by 8:30, leftovers in the fridge, showered, and OUT! 😂😴 Now for the real fun… unloading and cleaning! 🤦‍♂️

Our results out of 49 teams:

🐔 Chicken – 29th

🍖 Ribs – 37th

🥩 Brisket – 13th

Not the results we hoped for, but considering the crazy wind, little sleep, and the fact that this was only our FIFTH competition as a team, I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished!

Also couldn’t be happier with the performance of my three customized Traeger Pro 780s! Those smokers worked hard all weekend and didn’t let us down! 🔥💪

And apparently we underestimated our Miller Lite supply! 🍻😂 Ran out on the FIRST day and had to make a b**r run to restock!

We’re learning, improving, and having a blast along the way! Couldn’t be prouder of Eli’s Backyard BBQ Team!

Thanks to everyone who supported us! Until the next one… CHEERS!

🔥🍖 Competition Day Update – Eli’s Backyard BBQ Team! 🍖🔥

It was a rough night fighting the wind and running on very little sleep, but we made it through! 💨😴

It’s TURN-IN DAY, and we’re pushing through on adrenaline, determination, and a whole lot of BBQ smoke!

🐔 Chicken – 12:00 PM

🍖 Ribs – 1:30 PM

🥩 Brisket – 3:00 PM

The Traeger Pro 780’s smokers are rolling, the team is hanging tough, and we’re ready to see how our hard work pays off!

Win or lose, we’re doing what we love and having a great time doing it!

Wish Eli’s Backyard BBQ Team some luck today! 🔥🍻

🔥 Two Traeger Pro 780s putting in work! 🔥

Got some chicken thighs and ribs smoking low and slow on the Traegers! Nothing beats the smell of BBQ rolling through the backyard, a few cold Miller Lites, and some good old-fashioned relaxation! 🍗🍖🍺

Just another beautiful day doing what I love! Life is good!

Cheers from Eli’s Backyard BBQ Team! 🍻🔥
