That means is the start of our NINTH (can you believe it?) annual Glass Design Contest! It’s your chance to have YOUR design printed on a limited run of glassware!

There are two age groups, 15&under and everyone else. One winner from each group will win a $200 gift certificate and a set of their own glassware!

How to participate!
1. Stop by the taproom and get doodling!
2. Doodle your beauty of a piece before Oct 31st and drop it off with the b**rtender!

We can’t wait to see all the incredible designs, the more, the merrier! So let those creative juices flow!

Tomorrow is First Friday! Earlier this month JAR joined us to brew //🦮New Leash on Life Hazy IPA🐈/ 5.5%// Come celebrate its release tomorrow! 10% of the sales of this b**r are donated to JAR's Second Chance Fund. The Second Chance Fund helps furry friends in need of a service or treatment they otherwise wouldn't be able to get, and give those friends a New Leash on Life. Juneau Animal Rescue will be in the building from 5pm with an evening full of fun planned!

Earlier this month, a couple of us from JAR got to go behind the scenes at Devil’s Club Brewing Company and help brew something pretty special. 🍺🐾

New Leash on Life Hazy IPA is officially ready! Rick got to sample the finished brew today, and boy, it’s some tasty suds! 🍻

Come try it for yourself this First Friday, October 2, starting at 5pm, and help raise money for JAR’s Second Chance Fund. 10% of sales of New Leash on Life Hazy IPA will be donated to JAR, helping provide veterinary care for animals who need a little extra help getting their second chance.

And we’ve got plenty more going on:

- 🎨 Student Art Show & Auction featuring artwork from Montessori Borealis Elementary students, on display throughout October

Yet these wetlands store more carbon than all the world's trees combined. Until they catch fire. Join Dr. Judith Ament, climate scientist with The Nature Conservancy as she takes you from the thawing permafrost in Alaska to the tropical swamps of Angola. Grab a pint and discover how scientists use satellites, smoke, and mud to understand one of Earth’s most important and overlooked climate allies.
