Every single bean we make into cacao has passed through our hands, multiple times.

We do not have temperature and humidity controlled roasters, making "small batches" of 1500 pounds (!!!) of cacao at once. Yes, that is considered "small batch" in many cacao companies.

We make our cacao just 8 pounds at a time.
All of it is made here on land that we are in deep relationship with. Land we have defended from poison, tended, and sometimes even bled onto as we engaged in stewardship.

Our cacao is a beautiful, artful, sacred labor of love.

Support people who are working this way in the world.

Let these beans, filled with so much love, carry some of that love to you.

Try our micro batch ceremonial cacao, all grown here in deep relationship on the Big Island of Hawai'i, with zero slave or child labor, made by our four hands.

Head to our links to explore all the cacao we have available.
Or send us a DM, and we'll give you a personal recommendation on where to start!

🌙✨ Reconnect with ancient rhythms

Notice the cycles of nature, and how your body may desire to follow them, listen to them.

You may find harmony and peace, not with the modern world, but with that which existed long before us, and will exist long after us.

Sit with the moon.
Warm your hands around your cup of cacao.
See the steam rise upwards.

Take a breath.
Your heart is beating.
The seasons are still changing.
We are a tiny blink in the life of the universe.

Breathe out.

Culture lives through practice, tending, and listening. Not through taking, and assuming.

The cacao we work with carries teachings from real lineages, real elders, and real places.

Our responsibility is to honor that heritage through continued learning, accuracy, and relationship — not through ceremony centered around the aesthetic of spirituality without tradition or genuine connection.

True respect begins with understanding where the medicine comes from and the people who have safeguarded it for generations.

Take note.
Choose what you drink accordingly.

Before the cup, there is the bean ✨

Taste the difference in our small-batch Hawaiian ceremonial cacao. 🌱

Each bar is crafted with care, intention, and respect for the plant, the land, the ancestors, and all of our spiritual relationships.

From bean to cup, the journey our cacao goes through preserves the richness, nuance, and soul of cacao unlike anything mass-produced, or made without the daily practice of work and relationships that our cacao is supported by.

Head to our site to order one of our single farm one pound bars, all hand poured, holding the medicine of one specific place on the Big Island of Hawai'i.

Smell the bar when it arrives.
Notice the imperfections, and yet the beauty of the cacao in front of you.
It is real.
Sip your cup slowly.
You might notice your dreams changing.

When we bring our full attention, even the simplest sip becomes a lesson. But we are not only seeing, we are also being seen.

The mirror of cacao's perspective reflects not what we want to see in our human agenda, but what we are being witnessed in, and have an opportunity to bring our attention to — the rhythms of our hearts, the cycles we follow, the long distance to travel between the head and the heart, or between awareness and action, and whatever medicine this plant teacher may bring forward on any given day.

Healing is not found in rushed consuming.
What is found there in the instant buzz may feel good for a short period, but leave you more hungry in the long term.

Taking the time to listen to cacao, truly listen to it's voice, and not our own, is a journey worth traveling, and a cup that will fill you for a long time to come, rather than leaving you empty.

In Hawaiian traditions, action is guided by respect for land, ocean, moon, plants, animals, ancestors, the more than human divine beings, and all the relationships between.

Time is not rushed. Growth is not forced. Everything unfolds in rhythm, and is done from a place of deep observation, patience, and holistic understanding, with humility.

Ceremonial cacao can open a pathway into some of the same teachings...of unforced growth, of patience, of observation, of deep time and relationship with the non-human worlds around and within us.

It reminds us to slow down, to listen, and to honor the threads that connect us to earth and long lineages stretching back and forward through time.

When we sit with cacao in presence, we are not only drinking —
we may be remembering.

What would change if you made small spaces in your life to step out of the modern western habit of force, and into the slow, reciprocal ebb and flow of mutual respect beyond the human world?

Have a cup, and join us.

Have you ever seen cacao before it becomes chocolate?

Each pod holds the story of sun, soil, and careful hands, carrying the magic of nature and
centuries of tradition before it transforms into the sweet delight we know and love.

Who are the key players in the global cocoa beans market? 🌍🍫

The global cocoa beans market is shaped by a mix of producing countries, multinational companies, and trading giants that move cocoa from farms to finished products.
At the production level, countries like Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Indonesia dominate the supply, accounting for the majority of the world’s cocoa beans. These regions are essential because climate and geography make them ideal for cocoa farming 🌱
On the corporate side, major companies such as Barry Callebaut, Cargill, and Olam International play a crucial role in sourcing, processing, and distributing cocoa globally. They connect farmers to global markets and supply cocoa to chocolate manufacturers 🍫
Additionally, big chocolate brands like Nestlé and Mars influence demand, innovation, and sustainability practices in the industry.
Together, these players create a complex global network from smallholder farmers to multinational corporations driving the cocoa market forward. Sustainability, ethical sourcing, and rising global chocolate demand continue to shape how these key players operate 🌿✨

Cacao as a Tool for Conscious Facilitation 🌿✨

Cacao is more than a drink it is a gentle support system for presence, awareness, and intentional connection.
In facilitation spaces, it helps create a grounded atmosphere where people feel safe to slow down, open up, and truly engage.
By anchoring attention in the body and the moment, cacao supports deeper listening, emotional clarity, and more meaningful group experiences. 💫
