🐖🐄 Youth Livestock Auction Season is Here! 🐑🐐

When you raise your hand to bid at a youth livestock auction, you’re doing so much more than purchasing an animal—you’re investing in the future of our youth and our communities.

Behind every steer, hog, lamb, and goat is a young exhibitor who has dedicated months of hard work and commitment to their project. They’ve spent countless early mornings feeding, late evenings cleaning pens, working with their animals, learning showmanship, and developing skills that will last a lifetime.

These projects teach responsibility, dedication, time management, problem-solving, sportsmanship, financial responsibility, and the value of hard work. They also build confidence and prepare these young people to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Auction day is the reward for all those months of effort. It’s the moment these exhibitors proudly step into the sale ring, hoping their hard work is recognized and supported.

Whether you’re a longtime buyer or have never attended a livestock auction before, your support matters. Every bid, every add-on, every sponsorship, and every encouraging word tells these kids that their hard work is appreciated and that their community believes in them.

If purchasing an animal isn’t an option, there are still many ways you can help:
