How amazing would this be?! The pure joy and exciting a small business owner or farmer would have, and the courage to keep going. THIS is what its all about; supporting your farmer and neighbors.

Well… this was NOT on my to-do list this week. 😂
But sometimes you get a fun idea that you just can’t stop thinking about, and you decide to run with it.
So, we’re launching something new at Local Farmstand Finds:
STAND IT FORWARD! 💛
Here’s the idea.
LFF recently became eligible to offer Facebook subscriptions, and I’ll be candid, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with them. I didn’t want to put the content you already love behind a paywall just for the sake of having “exclusive content.”
Then I had an idea.
What if we made subscriptions just $1 a month and used that money to do something really FUN for farmstands?
As the subscription fund grows, LFF will choose farmstands from our NATIONAL community, show up and buy out their farmstand for the day.
And then we’ll take everything we purchase and gift it right back into that local community.
The farmstand owner gets a REALLY good sales day. The community gets locally grown and homemade goodies. And a whole bunch of people contributing just $1 get to make it happen.
One dollar doesn’t sound like much.
But 100 people = $100.
500 people = $500.
1,000 people = $1,000.
Now THAT can make a difference for a small farmstand.
And I still wanted subscribers to get a little something special, so as a thank-you, I’ll be sharing exclusive recipes from my own farmstand kitchen, including recipes I actually make for The Pick-Up Spot.
I have no idea how big this will get or how often we’ll be able to do it. We’re going to build it together and see where it takes us.
But I know one thing…
I REALLY want to go buy out a farmstand. 😂
So let’s Stand It Forward. $1 at a time. One farmstand at a time. One community at a time. 💛
