Apples to… Apples Cider Vinegar?

It’s that time of year again, and I am SO EXCITED! Last year we successfully made multiple gallons of homemade ACV. This year, I want to make exponentially more because I want to@start offering it in The Shoppe! Real, Raw, Authentic. Ya know, the Lovenwater Gold Standard Way!

Did you know we use ACV for more than just food? We use it to treat multiple ailments for humans and cows! What should we do with the leftovers from last year?

Redemption.

There’s something about farming and sweet Jersey cows that constantly remind me of the fruitfulness of a simple life.

It’s hard sometimes, really hard.

Death, production loss, performance pressure, client satisfaction, injured cows… the list goes on. Some days the weight of it all feels overwhelming.

But, then there are the simple moments. Walking the fields with my sweetest girls trailing behind me, constantly nudging for attention, and to give kisses. Or, waking up and seeing the sweetest new life snuggled deep in the grass of the peony fields. The quiet and ordinary moments feel like redemption.

Maybe that’s the story of life. The world comes at us from every direction, testing our resolve and testing us to believe the work isn’t worth it. Then God steps in with the gentle reminder we’re exactly where we are supposed to be. A sunrise, a healthy calf, pure love and a quiet peace that can’t be explained.

Keep going. Keep doing the work. Keep doing the hard because there is a deep, divine purpose.
