Caramels, Cards and Antiques, oh my! We had a BLAST at The Prairie Sisters Kalispell Fall market! Such an incredible group of vendors and a supberb host made for an absolutely incredible time. Slower vibes, a super fun set and a totally talented group of friends made this market one that we won’t forget!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone else who, quite literally, sold us out! We came home with an empty trailer and full hearts!

Don’t worry if you missed out! We will have Caramel Apples, Butter Caramels, Luxe Breadbags, Cards, Antiques, Merch and MUCH MORE at The Market Beautiful show here next month! Come say Hi!

Who wants to bottle feed a baby calf!?

We usually don’t pull our calves at birth anymore, EXCEPT when the mom is a heifer. We find it extremely challenging to teach heifers to let down their milk to our milk machine if they allowed to nurse their babies. In that case, we will be opening slots for people to come bottle feed these babies and get lots of pets and snuggles!

Apples to… Apples C***r Vinegar?

It’s that time of year again, and I am SO EXCITED! Last year we successfully made multiple gallons of homemade ACV. This year, I want to make exponentially more because I want to@start offering it in The Shoppe! Real, Raw, Authentic. Ya know, the Lovenwater Gold Standard Way!

Did you know we use ACV for more than just food? We use it to treat multiple ailments for humans and cows! What should we do with the leftovers from last year?

Also, if you want to trade some Organic, unsprayed apples for any dairy product we offer, shoot me a dm!

Princess Lillian is famous.

Like. Seriously.

The one and only Jim Riley came and used OUR girl as his keystone moment for his Black R***e Coffee Company cameo. Make sure to watch his stories for the first peek!

Redemption.

There’s something about farming and sweet Jersey cows that constantly remind me of the fruitfulness of a simple life.

It’s hard sometimes, really hard.

Death, production loss, performance pressure, client satisfaction, injured cows… the list goes on. Some days the weight of it all feels overwhelming.

But, then there are the simple moments. Walking the fields with my sweetest girls trailing behind me, constantly nudging for attention, and to give kisses. Or, waking up and seeing the sweetest new life snuggled deep in the grass of the peony fields. The quiet and ordinary moments feel like redemption.

Maybe that’s the story of life. The world comes at us from every direction, testing our resolve and testing us to believe the work isn’t worth it. Then God steps in with the gentle reminder we’re exactly where we are supposed to be. A sunrise, a healthy calf, pure love and a quiet peace that can’t be explained.

Keep going. Keep doing the work. Keep doing the hard because there is a deep, divine purpose.

Redemption.
