Spent all day doing computer work at the diner. The health department will be doing their walk through and their pre-opening inspection on the 16th🤞🤞

It got so late that we decided to make dinner at the diner.

The kitchen is finished! What a difference.

Update on the diner.

Northwoods came out and got the pop machine cleaned and in working order.

Met with the Kalkaska coffee company for some taste testing and I believe we have pick out the prefect coffee.

The kitchen is almost cleaned, thank goodness because im over it 😅

Painting is just about done.

We have a rough drafted of the new menu started.

Talked to some local farms which im very excited about.

All in all things are going very well thanks to all of our family and friends. 💓💓

If you see this driving by everything is ok, one of our mama's decided to have her piglets under the tree and with it being a little chilly tonight we had to hook up a heat lamp.

You know how I said to stay tuned because we have something big to announce.....Well we are the proud new owner of shirleys.

There will be some changes. The new name for the diner is Farmer's Kitchen.

Everything that we can will come from local farms including our own.

Some of the local items we will be looking for are whole cows, whole pigs, pasture raised chickens, honey, maple syrup and anything else that we can get.

There is a building next door that we will be turning into a butcher shop and that's where we will be making our goats cheese instead of on the farm.

We are so excited and nervous and cant wait to open.

More babies last night. 2 little boys.

They will be available after 8 weeks. 🐐🐐

So far it has been the perfect morning. Moonpie had 2 little girls and I got a little harvest from my crappy garden 🤣
