We didn’t stop homesteading.
We just changed the size of the land. ❤️

Selling was one of the hardest decisions we’ve made. That little piece of Tennessee held so many memories, lessons, and dreams.

But here’s the truth we kept coming back to…
Homesteading was never about the acreage.

It was about the mindset.

So even though we moved back into our RV, we’re not leaving this lifestyle behind — we’re reshaping it into something we’re calling Micro-Homesteading.

Because you don’t need land, animals, or a big farmhouse to live intentionally and stay rooted in your community.

You can do it from a backyard.
From an apartment.
From an RV.

Here’s what homesteading looks like for us now:

• Growing what we can on a small scale 🌱
• Cooking from scratch as much as possible 🍞
• Supporting local farmers for what we can’t produce 🥚🥩🥛
• Staying connected to the communities we live in 🤝

It’s slower. Smaller. More flexible.
But the heart of it is exactly the same.

This page is becoming the place where homesteading meets RV life — and where we learn how to live this lifestyle in a way that’s realistic, doable, and community-centered no matter where you live.

If you’ve ever wanted to homestead but felt like you didn’t have the land, the time, or the “perfect setup”… you belong here.

Follow along as we figure out RV micro-homesteading in real time 💛

And send this post to someone who’s been dreaming about homesteading — even if they think they can’t do it yet.

It's very bittersweet but the time has come for us to announce that our homestead is going to be put up for sale in the next 2 months. After we found out about baby #2, we decided that we did not want to stay put any longer.

As we've mentioned before, we were full-time RVers from 2020-2023 and we loved that life! Our intention in buying this property was to build a campground that would sustain our family for the rest of our lives and be passed down to our boys. But sadly, due to county decision, they are not accepting anymore campgrounds for the county. (Annoying right!)

With that, we have decided to go full-time again, sell the homestead, & go searching for our future campground! We hope to find one already established so that we can have income from the get-go. And yes, with that, we want extra land to restart again!

So head on over to and give us a follow on there! I will be sharing all of our travels, rv life, & our hunt for our future park/homestead!

It's been so much fun being part of this community, and we WILL return!

If you know anyone in search of a 10 acre property with a cabin in East Tennessee, send them our way!

This VERY PREGNANT Mama was exhausted today, so Dad took Henry outside to play in the snow so I could take a hot shower & relax a little.

While the snow was too dry for snowman building, they spent more than an hour sledding, playing on the trampoline, & "snowball fighting." 💙

All in all, Daddy wore himself out but still managed to scrap & salt the driveway for the 3rd time to keep ahead of the ice 🥰

We ended up with about 3 inches of snow, which was just enough for us!

This was my childhood in NC! But here in East Tennessee, we got little over 3 inches & it was our 7th (or 8th) snow so far this winter 🤣

Last night 🌙

After a good day with our boy, we came home to him BEGGING me to keep him warm. Which is so odd because he is normally hot-natured like we are & isn't much of a "hold me" kid.

By 7 pm, he was asleep on my chest & spiked a fever. He doesn't want to eat or drink, but I've managed to get him to take about 6 or 7 good-sized sips of water over the past 2 hours to try to keep him hydrated.

My boy is finally snuggled in his bed and resting, now its time for me to do the same in case he wakes up in the middle of the night.

Prayers for us & our boy as we try to navigate this ick 💙 Henry hasn't been sick in over a year, so we're definitely not used this.

Send me all your homestead recipes for electrolyte drinks, etc! ☕️

We already took a dose on onion-fermented honey for the cough & are addressing the fever in non-medicical ways, but I need to get this boy to drink something.

Woke up with Peter this morning to the first snow of the season, which is still slightly falling. It was off & on yesterday while we prepped the chickens & ducks, but was surprised to see it still sticking this morning at 6 am. We are still expecting another inch or so before it stops. 💙❄️

✔️ chickens & ducks have been checked on
✔️ woodstove is restocked
✔️ dinner is planned

Now, Peter is off to work & I'm heading back to bed but I'm excited to hear Henry later. He has been BEGGING for snow for the past few weeks ❄️❄️❄️
