Ok! Shew! Busy day! My FFA MO State Fair projects have landed in their home of the FFA building! I wanted to say thank you to Mrs. Hailey at Jean's Flowers and Gifts for the amazing stems and goodies for my fresh corsage and fresh boutonniere, they turned out amazing! We forgot to take good pictures of the finished projects but I think they will do awesome at state!

Today I had the opportunity to attend one of KC Prospect Business Association events, “PBA State of Entrepreneurs” at the Kauffman Foundation, and I walked away feeling more excited than ever about what the future holds.

I was able to meet and network with so many incredible business owners, professionals, and community leaders. Every conversation gave me something new to think about, whether it was advice, encouragement, a new connection, or simply hearing someone else’s story.

I have some pretty big dreams for myself and for Diva’s & Me Dairy Goats, and being in a room surrounded by people who believe in entrepreneurship and helping others succeed was such an amazing experience.

I am so thankful to be a part of the KC Prospect Business Association and everything they do for the greater Kansas City business community. PBA does an incredible job supporting and promoting small businesses while also creating opportunities and resources for minority owned, women owned, and youth owned businesses to grow, connect, and be seen.

Today was also a time to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the 2025 award recipients. Congratulations to each and every person and business recognized! It was inspiring to hear about your accomplishments and see your hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to your businesses and community celebrated. You have all worked incredibly hard for those honors, and they are so well deserved.

As a young entrepreneur, having people willing to listen to my ideas, answer my questions, introduce me to others, and take my goals seriously means more than I can say.

I have a lot to learn, a lot of work ahead of me, and some very big goals. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me and where Diva’s & Me will go from here.

Dream big, work hard, make connections, and keep going. I’m just getting started.

There are some truly incredible people in the dairy goat community, and from everything we’ve heard, Adrienne is one of them. While mom and I have never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, we’ve heard so many stories about her kindness, dedication to the American Dairy Goat world, and the impact she’s had on so many people. Now it’s our turn to rally around her.

I’m honored to have donated Lot #14 to the Rally for Adrienne fundraiser organized by April Hitch and family.

Lot #14 (a buck whos near a dear to me, the foundation of most of my genetics thus far) includes 5 straws of CH Pleasant-Grove Flash Freeze. Flash has been an incredible herd sire for us, and it’s been so exciting watching his daughters hit the show ring. He already has multiple daughters earning their legs, and they’re still just getting started. His genetics continue to impress us year after year, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish as they mature.

Whether you’re looking for elite semen, quality live animals, or other awesome goat goodies, there are so many fantastic lots in this fundraiser. If you’re a goat person, I hope you’ll take a look and consider placing a bid. Every bid helps support an amazing woman as she fights cancer.

Today, I’m honored to be donating an Artisan Goat Milk Soap Making Experience for 2 to be one of the raffles benefiting the Bruto family at the Plattsburg Country Club Golf Tournament on August 15th.

Just a few days ago, the Bruto family, a local hard working family in our community, a family of 6, including 4 young children, lost their home in a devastating fire. Thankfully, no one was home at the time, and everyone is safe, but they lost nearly everything they owned.

If you’re local and want to attend the golf tournament, I’m attaching the flyer! Please consider, it sounds like a good time! If you go or not, I hope you’ll consider going in or swinging by to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win my soap making experience while helping a local family begin to rebuild. You’ll learn how to make your own handcrafted goat milk soap from start to finish, and every ticket purchased helps make a difference.

This is our community. Their children attend my local schools. Right now, they need the support of the community that surrounds them, and all those able to help.

And we’re off! Pops driving and the girls are chillin! 6 jr kids in the camper, 3 dry yearlings and 3 milkers in the trailer! Lots of air movement and iced down waters as it’s HOT today, so far everyone’s happy!! Only 2 hours left! We’re headed to Boon County 4-H Show, and it’s their first ADGA sanctioned show! I’m excited for this one! Thanks for Boon County and Mrs. Sherry and crew for organizing this!
