Let’s talk about lumbar lordosis and the issues it can cause. I know some of y’all are walking around like this 🙃. Here’s what you need to know:
Lumbar lordosis can lead to:
• Lower back pain and discomfort
• Difficulty moving in certain positions
• Excessive pressure on the spine
• Poor form during certain lifts
• Anterior pelvic tilt
…and more. The list goes on 🤕.
Treatment options:
1. If you’re intentionally exaggerating the curve to make your butt look bigger, step one is to stop.
2. Physical therapy to strengthen your abs and core, and to learn how to keep your pelvis in a neutral position.
3. In severe cases, braces or surgery may be needed.
So, next time you see a big b***y, ask yourself: Is that 🍑 all natural, or is it just lordosis?
