Millie is available if anyone is interested! She is 50% milky Finn, 25% milky Icelandic, and 25% East Friesian. Shes just over a year old. She comes with two ewe lambs that are out of a EF, Awassi, lacaune, and Icelandic ram. She is stanchion trained and in milk currently giving over a pint a day with her ewe lambs on her 12hrs a day. Shes a bit kicky while milking, but that’ll stop soon I’m sure. Shes a super lovey ewe, and her lambs are also getting lots of hands on attention everyday as well. She’s getting 12oz of peas twice a day, and chaffhaye. She’s a smaller framed sheep and has amazing fiber! I’d keep her for the fiber and temperament if I had the space! Shoot me a DM for more info!

edit: HOME FOUND 🥰

These two girls showed up a few weeks apart, both malnourished and scared. The tabby we named Flash because she was so scared of us she wouldn’t come near us for weeks. Now she’s a cuddle bug. The calico, Patches, has been a cuddled since day one, and was probably only 4wks old when she showed up, so we nursed her well with milk and love and she’s a spunky hilarious little kitty now. We have two of our own kitties and don’t need a 3rd and 4th, so are looking for new homes for these sweet girls! Shoot me a DM if you need a good barn cat/house kitty and your in the KC area.

Oh the pretty little things🥰next year it’s soft neck for braids! Reminder - if you haven’t yet ordered your garlic for planting this fall, do it now! I have always been late to the game and miss out on the varieties I want!

I hope they remember these moments in the garden all the days of their lives🥰

Just to make ya smile this morning 🥰 another reason I love sheep is that my boys (only supervised and right next to us) are able to be in the field with me, amongst the sheep. Now keep in mind I keep my rams in a separate paddock, and the boys know they are never allowed in the ram paddock without standing RIGHT next to me or daddy. Ewes can still hurt you (even with good shoes on, when they step on your feet it hurts!) by butting or trampling, or even ramming (though I’ve only seen this happen between ewes) so we are always close by, but having a smaller animal makes for some really fun and precious moments! I’m hoping to have the boys out in the field with me more as we’re growing our flock, and the boys are getting older - now 3.5 and 5 in July. They are getting more comfortable around them, and it’s a joy to see!
