Exciting night tonight. At the last minute we decided to enter a couple beers into our favorite homebrewer competition. This is one of the biggest competitions in the US (600+) entries, and also has beautiful handmade Halloween themed lanyards for the medals.

Honored to say that Irish Wake (Irish Red) won silver in Scottish and Irish Ales category. (10 entries) These were the last 2 bottles of the Irish Red. It had scored well at other competitions, but I guess today was just it’s day. 😊

Maple Coffee Seventh Trumpet won bronze specialty beers (29 entries!)

Cheers!

May not have won any hardware-but did win the People’s Choice Award at the Picnique Belgique-as well as receiving a vote from Peter Bouckaert, after he tried our Flanders Red twice! Great night overall. Thanks Grain to Glass, LLC for hosting!

Knocking out a small batch (2.5 gallons) of Seventh Trumpet today with my buddy Jordan Larson. Always fun to teach people how to brew.

This version will get chocolate, bourbon soaked oak chips, and coffee.

Kentucky Seventh Trumpet!

Restless Bastard won a bronze medal at the Western Idaho Fair Homebrew Competition today. This was a joint effort brew by several Missouri Mashers who brewed up a Wee Heavy and aged it in a Restless Spirits Distilling whiskey barrel.
Irish Wake (Irish Red) also received an honorable mention, scoring a 41/50.

Just added our Hip Hops Hooray beer fest beers to our Untappd page. To try them, hit up the Hip Hops Brews booth. Cans of Diced Pineapples and Hawaii Five-Yo! will be available there, along with their great beers too!
