MY HUSBAND SENT ME AND OUR KIDS TO A HOSTEL AND BOOKED A LUXURY HOTEL FOR HIMSELF AND HIS MOM — HE REGRETTED IT THE NEXT MORNING.

We really wanted to get away from the city for a week – me, Steve, our kids, and Steve's mom. Steve's always bragging about how he knows the best spots, so I let him take the lead and handle all the travel stuff.

So, we get there, and Steve drops me and the kids at this super tiny hostel on the edge of town. And then he drops this bombshell: "MOM NEEDS HER COMFORT. She can't deal with the noise from the kids. I need to take care of her, so I'll be staying with her at the luxury adult-only hotel in town so she can relax. We'll catch up with you tomorrow."

Before I could even react, these two left, leaving me and the kids there. Then Steve even FaceTimed me to show off their lavish hotel and say how the “kids would LOVE the pool!” I was FUMING but played it cool to keep the kids calm. I got them settled and made a simple dinner.

LITTLE GIRL FINDS OUT SHE'S MISSING

One morning, Mia's mother Laura told her she was stepping out to do some grocery shopping. Mia really wanted to accompany her, and Laura agreed.

The mom and daughter arrived at the supermarket. While Laura was shopping, a strange detail caught Mia's attention: A milk carton had her image.

Mia approached the carton and lifted it from the shelf. She stared at the word "MISSING" printed below her photo.

"Find something?" Laura's voice made her jump. Mia turned around, pressing the carton to her chest, hiding it from Laura.

Mia knew something was off the day she arrived at Laura's house. She couldn't pinpoint what, but this milk carton was her first lead.

"I was…I was just looking," Mia replied nervously.

"Alright," Laura nodded and turned toward the checkout. As Laura walked away, Mia memorized the phone number mentioned on the carton. Thank God, this was the only carton with her photo; otherwise, Laura would've noticed it, too.

ENTITLED COUPLE TOOK MY PREMIUM SEAT ON THE PLANE — SO I TAUGHT THEM A LESSON AND TURNED IT INTO PROFIT.

I was comfortably settled in my aisle seat enjoying the extra legroom, when a couple rudely approached. The woman, exuding entitlement, demanded, "You need to switch seats with me. I messed up the booking and won't sit away from my husband."

I glanced at her ticket — row 12, middle seat, far from the premium seat I'd chosen. She scoffed at my hesitation and added dismissively, "It's just a seat. You don't need all that space anyway."

Her husband smirked, "Yeah, do the right thing. We need to sit together, and you don't really need to be up here, do you?"

Their arrogance was obvious, and they fully expected me to comply. Hiding my irritation, I handed over my ticket.

As I headed to row 12, a flight attendant intercepted me and whispered, "MA'AM, YOU REALIZE THIS WAS A SCAM, RIGHT? THEY TRICKED YOU OUT OF YOUR GOOD SEAT."

I smiled and replied, "ACTUALLY, I HAVE A TRICK UP MY SLEEVE." The flight attendant's eyes widened, but she quickly understood and stifled a laugh.

As a single father, I know how sometimes you just need a little help. So when I saw my 82-year-old neighbor struggling to mow her lawn, I immediately ran over to help.

MY BOYFRIEND ABANDONED HIS MOTHER IN A WHEELCHAIR AT MY HOUSE. THEN HE RETURNED AND PROPOSED

I was so blinded by my love that I ignored every red flag.

One day, he brought his sick mother to my place. "She has spine issues and needs a carer. It's just for a few weeks," he said. I couldn't say no to him. I was afraid that if I refused, he would leave me.

Shortly after, he became distant, spending more time out of the house. Then he was gone. No explanation — just a two-sentence written note that ended with "Goodbye."

I was devastated. That's when I discovered I was PREGNANT.

I took care of his mother, although it was difficult to manage the first trimester of pregnancy, job, and house chores.

A few months later, my boyfriend suddenly returned. He fell to his knees and said: "I'm so sorry, babe! You're an angel! WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
